No school; no TV

I feel like the kids have been watching a TON of television lately. And they want to play games on the phone/iPad if the TV isn't on.

So Wednesday morning (Ivy's last day of school), I made an impromptu rule: "No school--No TV."

I expected it to last a day or two. Granted, it's only been 5 days, but they haven't begged--they haven't even asked to watch TV.

Jamey did yell at me while we were at the zoo: "MOM!! You're being so mean to us about the TV!" But other than that, nothing out of any of them.

We'll see how long it lasts. Ivy is so far totally on-board and Jamey follows her anywhere :) Livy on the other hand is having Super Why withdrawals.
