We had a really fun day, starting with a few Kid Fights.
We went up to the Ft Lauderdale Galleria mall to pick up Jeremy's race packet. Ivy cried because she wanted to watch Mary Poppins at one of the exhibit stalls. And they were both sad that there wasn't a play area or train at the mall.
We then drove over to the Anne Kolb Nature Center and saw crabs, mangrove trees, a raccoon, and an ibis. It was a fun walk on the nature trails and the kids loved the observation tower. While we were there, I think we settled on a girl name if we end up having a girl. We've known a boy name for about 2 years.
Then on to Mama Fu's for a delicious lunch. The kids love eating mac & cheese with chop sticks and I love just about any food these days. They were short staffed so we ended up getting chocolate cake for the kids to split after their meal because our food took FOREVER to come out. I love chocolate cake. Yum.
Now we're home getting prepared for a 13.1 tomorrow morning. I am not racing, but I do have to pack a bag for the kids while we wait for Jeremy to cross the finish line. Should be exciting!
