It looks like we're moving to Florida.
After our Thanksgiving trip, Jeremy talked to his manager about a short-term move so we could be closer to his family. Kroll Ontrack has an office in Miramar, so we're going to spend two years down there. I want to be back here before Ivy starts kindergarten.

What an unexpected announcement to find in my Google Reader. When are you leaving? I hope we can get together before you go. Maia will miss Ivy terribly. She was asking about you guys this morning.
ReplyDeleteI forget people read this. I meant to call you guys before we made the announcement. Only my family and Jeremy's sister knows so far. We have to finish up a couple little projects at the house and then find renters, so we're hoping to move at the end of March, but who knows?

ReplyDeleteWe are in the process of interviewing property management firms and would like to rent the house. The plan is to be in FL April 1. We're not selling because we'll be back in two years, and the market still isn't that great around here. Plus, then we don't have to try to buy here while we're down there. We're just going to rent a place down there. I think Jeremy's going to go in late Feb to find a house.
