Auntie Amy & Family gave Ivy a gift card to pick out her first American Girl doll. We went up to the MOA today and let her pick out a doll.
She picked Julie!
We picked out the doll and were standing at the check out. The employee asked if we wanted the accessories. When I ho-hummed about it, she showed us the box, Ivy jumped up and down and squealed. So, of course, we got Julie's hat, purse, and necklace.
When we got home, Ivy and I sat down to read the first chapter in the Meet Julie book. After three pages, Ivy said, "I'm done. This is the most boring book I've ever read."
